Gold Fields: Mineral Resource and Mineral Reserve Publications
JOHANNESBURG, April 23, 2012 /CNW/ - Gold Fields Limited (Gold Fields)
has published its Mineral Resource and Mineral Reserve supplement to the 2011 Integrated Annual Review on the Gold Fields website at http://www.goldfields.co.za.The Gold Fields Mineral Resources and Mineral Reserves Supplement 2011 is made up as follows:
-- The Mineral Resources and Mineral Reserves Overview, which
provides a comprehensive overview of Gold Fields' Mineral
Resources and Mineral Reserves status on a Group and Regional
basis;
-- Eight operational Technical Short Form Reports, which give an
in-depth review of each operation; and a
-- Technical Short Form Report of Gold Fields' Exploration and
Growth Projects.
As at 31 December 2011, Gold Fields Limited had total attributable precious metal and gold equivalent Mineral Resources of 217.0 million ounces (31 December 2010: 225.4 million ounces) and Mineral Reserves of 80.6 million ounces (76.7 million ounces).
