Yellowhead Mining Inc. - Appointment of New Chief Financial Officer

VANCOUVER, Feb. 1, 2016 /CNW/ - Yellowhead Mining Inc. ("Yellowhead" or the "Company") (TSX: YMI) reports David McGoey, has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of the Company, effective as of February 1, 2016, upon the departure of Lori Price.  The board of directors would like to thank Ms. Price for all of her dedicated efforts during these challenging conditions in the commodity and the international capital markets.

Mr. McGoey will oversee the financial aspects of the care and maintenance program. Mr. McGoey has over twenty five years of professional experience including ten years of experience as a director on boards of public companies as well as serving as the Chief Financial Officer of other public companies. Mr. McGoey holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree, two professional accounting designations (CA and CPA (Illinois)), his ICD.D designation and has attended additional professional education courses on governance and compensation issues for directors.
