Northcore Resources: Nomination of Director
MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 12/21/12 -- Northcore Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE: NCR) announces that it has nominated as a new member of its Board of Directors Mr. Garry Majerle of London, Ontario. Mr. Majerle graduated in 1986 from Brock University in St-Catharine's, Ontario with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. Since his graduation he has pursued a career in aviation as a professional pilot. He has lived in many remote areas of Canada, in particular, Northern Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario. During this period he experienced the grass roots of the mineral exploration industry spending time in various exploration camps. This exposure led him to become active in claim staking acquisition and development of exploration properties throughout Canada. These activities are now done as President of Garnet Gold Inc. a private family corporation.
Mr. Majerle is a licensed prospector in the Provinces of Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec and Newfoundland and Labrador. He has been active in the research and development of mining properties in the Timmins Mining Camp Ring of Fire and Val d'Or areas.
Following Mr. Majerle's nomination as a Director Northcore Resources will have three (3) independent Directors: Terry Byberg, Garry Majerle and Michel Lebeuf. The fourth Director is Daniel Coch, P. Eng. who also acts as Chairman of the Board.
