(TSX-V:CDB) hereby provides an update to its April 16, 2012 news release which advised of the completion of the final tranche of a private placement of units of the Company.  As a result of its participation in the placement, CMP Gold Trust acquired 2,666,666 common shares and 1,333,333 warrants.  By virtue of holding over 10% of the issued common shares of the Company, CMP Gold Trust became an insider of the Company.
