VANCOUVER, April 25, 2012 - Discovery Ventures Inc. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:DVN) announces that further to its news release dated April 12, 2012 announcing the acquisition of the option to earn a 50% interest in the Big Creek property, the Company will make payments totalling $250,000 in expenditures and 1,200,000 common shares of the Company on or before July 1, 2014 to the vendor. This transaction is subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval.The Company also announces that it will not be proceeding with the La Sarita property located approximately 20 kilometers southwest of Moctazeuma, Sonora, Mexico. The details of the option agreement were announced by the Company in its news release dated April 4, 2011.
