Drill hole PB-12-01 is located at 475441E, 5055929N (NAD 1983, Zone 18N) with azimuth 100.3? and dip -44.2?. Drill hole PB-12-02 is located at location 475408E, 5056048N (NAD 1983, Zone 18N) with azimuth 95.2? and dip -45.9?.
A total of 2,405 metres of drilling, over 13 NQ sized drill holes, has been completed to date. The core samples from nine drill holes have been shipped to the laboratory for analysis while the remaining drill core is being logged and sampled. The Company also drilled one hole for metallurgical testing.
QA/QC for drill program
Core logging and QA/QC procedures are provided by Pleson Geoscience. Samples are logged and split by wet diamond saw with half sent for assaying while the other half is stored securely on site. Sample lengths typically average 1 metre but vary by geological boundaries. QA/QC included inserting blanks into the sample stream at industry standard intervals with duplicate core samples taken every 20 samples. Samples are prepped and analyzed by Activation Laboratories Ltd. ("Actlabs") in Ancaster, ON. Infrared 5D-C graphitic carbon ("Cg") analysis is used and measured as carbon dioxide under the infrared spectrum. The detection limit is 0.05% and other sources of carbon are eliminated via an initial multistage furnace treatment. Actlabs also analyzed pulp and preparation duplicates and method blanks as part of their QA/QC program.
