Silver Mountain Mines Inc. Completes 2012 Geochemistry Sampling and Drill Programs
The Drill Program, which commenced in July 2012, completed a total of 45 diamond drill holes, comprising of approximately 4,050 metres in the area of the Ptarmigan Mine, Upper Ptarmigan and East Ptarmigan Zones. Previous drilling, by Silver Mountain, between 2009 and 2011, identified both polymetallic veins and manto style mineralization. The 2012 drill program was intended to develop mineralized intercepts from preceding programs into mineralized zones. A total of 21 drill holes were completed in the area of the Ptarmigan Mine workings, which includes historical development comprised of the Level 1, Adit #2 and Adit 3# workings. The remaining 24 drill holes were drilled in the East and Upper Ptarmigan Zones. Results from the drill program are pending and will be reported when analytical results have been received and reviewed by the Company. The Geochemistry Sampling Program was comprised of additional soil, silt and/or rock sampling carried out predominantly within the Law Creek (east side of property) and Gopher Creek (north end of property) areas, with additional sampling along McDonald Creek (central to northern end of property). A total of 286 soil samples, 151 rock and 17 silt samples were collected. Results from this program are pending and will be reported when received and reviewed.
