EMED Mining Public Ltd - Appointment of Non-Executive Director
Mr. Harry Liu (aged 43) is a Vice President at XGC, where he has been employed since November 2011. XGC is one of the world's largest copper smelting, refining and processing groups located in Shandong province of China and is a significant shareholder in EMED Mining with a current shareholding of 137,626,181 ordinary shares, representing approximately 12% of the shares currently in issue.
Prior to joining XGC, Mr. Liu has held a number of senior management and marketing positions in the mineral and financial industries in Shanghai and Hong Kong, including roles as Marketing Manager at BHP Billiton Marketing AG and Director at BNP Paribas Asia. Mr. Liu has no other directorships.
Mr. Liu graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Zhejiang University in Zhejiang Province, China.
