(via Thenewswire.ca)
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, September 24, 2012 - Rock Tech Lithium Inc. (TSX-Venture: RCK; Frankfurt: RJIA; Pink Sheets: RCKTF) (the "Company" or "Rock Tech") is pleased to announce that the recently completed ground geophysical survey has identified several graphite exploration targets on the Lochaber graphite property in Gatineau, Quebec.
The Company carried out a 35.17 line-kilometre magnetic survey in addition to 33.7 line-kilometres of Horizontal Loop Electromagnetic ("HLEM") surveying using a Max-Min instrument in the Plumbago area of the property.
The interpretation of the magnetic survey data outlined several wide and intense magnetic anomalies all of which follow a north-northeast orientation. Additionally, the HLEM survey mapped five north-south oriented conductors.
Company President and CEO, Eunho Lee, commented, "The ground geophysical survey results are a testament to the merit of the Lochaber property. The Company plans to drill test all of the conductors identified by the geophysical survey in addition to targets identified by historical exploration work and those associated with past producing mines. Additionally, due to success of the ground geophysics, the Company has planned to extend the survey grid further to the north and the east."
The survey, conducted by Mr. Camille St-Hilaire, M.Sc. A., P.Geo., a consulting geophysicist from Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec, was done on traverses 50-metres spaced with an azimuth of N90?E with control-lines 100-metres spaced and oriented north-south. A GEM GSM-19 V7.0 Overhauser magnetometer (serial number 7022235) was used to acquire the Total Field Intensity magnetic data along grid lines. For the electromagnetic survey, an Apex Parametrics (Uxbridge, Ontario) Max-Min 1-9 instrument (serial number 5309) was used. Additional details of the survey results along with interpretation maps are posted on the Company's website.
