André Gauthier joins Vena Resources Board of Directors

TORONTO, July 3, 2012 - Vena Resources Inc. ("Vena" or the "Company") (TSX: VEM, LIMA: VEM, Frankfurt: V1R, OTC-BB: VNARF, Xetra®: V1R.DE), a Company with strong partnerships with some of the world's largest mining companies, is pleased to announce that André Gauthier is joining the board of the Company and Harry Burgess is retiring.André has over 33 years of experience in the Mining Exploration field and has a great reputation as Explorer and Business Development's Leader. He started with SOQUEM in 1977 and from 1978 to 1982 was exploration geologist with FALCONBRIDGE LTD., Exploration Manager with NORAMCO, and from 1989 to 2005 was the International Exploration Manager of CAMBIOR INC., especially in the Andes. He is currently President of LARA EXPLORATION LTD. and was President of INCA PACIFIC RESOURCES INC. until October 31, 2011.
He has a Master Degree in Mineral Exploration and is an active member of many mining and professional organizations. André is involved in the mining community as President of China International Mining Group. He has been Vice President of Quebec Prospector Association, Director of the Peruvian Mining Society and President of the Foreign Investment Committee and Director of the SARCC and a founding member and Director of the Canada Peru Chamber of Commerce.
