Tyhee Board Appoints Brian Briggs as Full-Time President, CEO and Director, Grants Incentive Stock Options
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 06/08/12 -- The Board of Directors of Tyhee Gold Corp. (TSX VENTURE: TDC) (the "Company") is pleased to announced the appointment of Brian K. Briggs, P. Eng., as the Company's President and CEO, as well as to the Board of Directors, effective immediately.
Mr. Briggs has been acting as Interim President and CEO since December 19, 2011 (see Tyhee announcement). Since joining Tyhee in May of 2011, Mr. Briggs' primary focus has been the management of the Yellowknife Project Feasibility Study being completed by SRK Consulting, Knight Piesold and Lyntek Inc. out of their Denver, Colorado offices. The Feasibility Study remains on target to be completed over the next couple of months.
The Board has also granted incentive stock options to purchase in aggregate up to 4,030,000 common shares to a number of directors, officers and consultants pursuant to its incentive stock option plan. The options are exercisable on or before June 4, 2017 at a price of $0.10 per share.
