Mediterranean Resources appoints new Senior Geologist at its Turkish Operation
VANCOUVER, April 30, 2012 /CNW/ - Mediterranean Resources Ltd.
('Mediterranean') is pleased to announce the appointment of Aydin Usta, as Senior Geologist to the company's Ankara office with responsibility for the development of the company's projects in the Mediterranean Basin.Aydin Usta is a Turkish citizen who graduated as a geologist from the Karadeniz Technical University, Faculty of Mines, Department ofGeological Engineering in 1990. Most recently he has been the Chief Geologist for the Turkish subsidiary of Red Crescent Resources
. Before that he worked in various geological capacities for the Turkish-owned Ciner Group/Park Holding from 2007 until 2011. From 1997 - 2007 he worked as freelance consultant on engineering projects in Turkey. From 1990 - 1997 he worked for a drilling company named Ozturk Sondajcilik.His experience traverses projects in Copper, Gold, Lead/Zinc, Chromium, Manganese and lignite coal.
We are very pleased to be adding a new key member to our team as the Company looks to add other projects both in Turkey and the Mediterranean Basin.
