Tombstone Exploration Corp. Renews Bureau of Land Management Mining Claims - Arizona
PHOENIX, AZ -- (Marketwire - Sep 8, 2011) - Tombstone Exploration Corporation (OTCBB: TMBXF) (OTCQB: TMBXF) announced today that it has renewed all its Bureau of Land Management ("BLM") mining claims in the Tombstone Mining District located in the State of Arizona. The Company has paid all required fees prior to the due date of August 31, 2011.
TMBXF engaged leading Geoscientist and President of Rock Point Geophysics Inc., Sean Walker, during the month of July to review the ZTEM report combined with the Company's historical and current geological work done over the last few years to finalize and determine the most strategic drill targets for the next drill program. Mr. Walker is a Professional Geoscientist registered in the Province of Ontario with over 10 years of experience in a variety of fields within applied geophysics. TMBXF is expecting this report to be delivered within the month of September.
Steve Radvak, V.P. of Exploration for TMBXF, commented, "The Geoscientist's Report will review the work completed to date and recommend additional geophysical work that will better define the exploration targets. The follow-up work would be done in conjunction with additional field work to prepare for a drilling program targeting deep porphyry copper/gold/silver targets."
TMBXF is focused primarily on exploration and development of mineral resources. TMBXF has the mineral rights to approximately 11,500 acres of historical mining land in the areas around Tombstone, Arizona and is the largest landholder in the Tombstone Mining District.
