VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire - Jan. 10, 2012) - Encore Renaissance Resources Corp. (TSX VENTURE: EZ) (FRANKFURT: OUH1) (PINKSHEETS: ERRCF) (the “Company“) is pleased to announce it has closed a non-brokered private placement originally announced December 21, 2011. The Company placed 30,000,000 units (the “Units“) of the Company at a price of $0.05 per Unit for gross proceeds totaling $1,500,000. Each Unit consists of one common share and one common share purchase warrant (the “Warrants“), with each Warrant exercisable at $0.10 for a period of two years following the closing of the offering. The proceeds of the financing will be used for general working capital purposes.The private placement is subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange Inc.
