Golden Phoenix Expresses Condolences for Passing of Board Member Clyde Harrison
Clyde Harrison was the founding member and former CEO of Beeland Management Co., which managed the Rogers Raw Material Index Funds. Mr. Harrison began a career in finance with Lehman Brothers, became a General Partner with Carl Icahn managing hedge trading positions, was a member of the Managed Futures Committee with the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and a member of the Chicago Board Options Exchange. Mr. Harrison has been acknowledged for his contributions to several books, published numerous articles featured in leading business periodicals as well as being a nationally recognized public speaker regarding investments and public policy.
Clyde was a member of Harvest Bible Chapel. In addition to his career, his passions included a love of cars, boating, water skiing and investing in the lives of family and friends. Clyde Harrison, age 68, of Cary, passed away Nov. 17, 2011, at his home. He was born Sept. 21, 1943, in St. Louis, MO and is the son of Charles and Ruth Harrison.
He is survived by his loving wife Kim (Jameson) Harrison, whom he married June 18, 1993. He is also survived by his children Konni Harrison and Marshall Harrison; two brothers, Craig (Susie) Harrison and Ross (Beverly) Harrison.
Visitation is Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011 from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Kahle-Moore Funeral Home, 403 Silver Lake Rd., Cary, IL. Funeral Service is Monday, Nov. 21, 2011, 11 a.m. at Harvest Bible Chapel, 580 Tracey Trail, Crystal Lake, IL 60014. Memorials would be appreciated to the Harvest Bible Chapel 5G.
