Dajin Resources Corp. announces Gold Drill Targets Confirmed
(via Thenewswire.ca)
Vancouver, B.C. - October 5, 2011 - Dajin Resources Corp. (“Dajin“) (DJI-V) reports that Dr. V. Levson, President of Quaternary Geosciences Inc. and former Executive Director of Resource Development and Geoscience with the B.C. Ministry of Energy and Mines, has completed a program of Quaternary mapping and sampling at its Addie 1 gold property located adjacent to and south east of the Spanish Mountain gold discovery. The objective of the work was to develop data to assist in the selection of drill targets needed to test an extensive gold geochemical anomaly on the property. The results confirmed the assays from the Dajin's 2010 soil sampling program and determined the character and origin of the surficial geological materials sampled in the 2010 and earlier programs.
The Quaternary mapping and sampling program at Dajin's Addie 1 property confirmed high gold values at six multi-site multi-element (gold and arsenic and/or antimony) areas on the steep slopes occurring near the south end of Spanish Lake.
High gold concentrations found at all of these sites in earlier programs were reproduced in the 2011 sampling program, usually with higher gold contents than the original soil gold values. The gold was determined to occur mainly in colluvial sediments and weathered bedrock that originated either in place or short distances upslope from the sample locations. One of the important findings of the study is that samples collected from deeper soil horizons commonly contain greater and more representative quantities of gold. An important conclusion of the study is that the thin till cover on gentle slopes adjacent to the gold anomalies may well mask significant gold source areas that remain undetected on the property under soils where the depth of sampling was insufficiently deep.
Dajin is awaiting receipt of permits to allow the company to commence drilling and other exploration work at the Addie 1, Addie 2 and Cowtrail properties.
About Dajin: (www.dajin.ca)
Located in the British Columbia Cariboo Mining District, on the north side of the west arm of Quesnel Lake, Dajin owns a 100% interest in 29 mineral claims with a 1,500 meter long, linear gold in soils anomaly adjacent to Spanish Mountain Gold Ltd.'s (SPA-V) 1.7 million ounce Spanish Mountain gold discovery. The Company also owns a 100% interest in 48 mineral claims south of Quesnel Lake, adjacent to the Frasergold deposit. Dajin has an option agreement with Cariboo Rose Resources Ltd. (CRB-V) whereby Dajin can earn a 65% interest in the Cowtrail Property where the Company intersected 1.16 g/t gold and copper mineralization over 60.0 feet (18.3 meters). The Cowtrail Property is adjacent to the Fjordland/Cariboo Rose copper gold joint venture which has been optioned by Gold Fields Limited with a commitment to spend $40 million to earn a 70% interest in the project.
