Rio Novo Gold: Annual General Meeting
TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 06/06/11 -- Rio Novo Gold Inc. (TSX: RN)(TSX: RN.WT) ('Rio Novo' or the 'Company') announces that its annual general meeting (the 'AGM') has been scheduled to Monday, June 27, 2011. The meeting will be held at 320 Park Avenue, 19th floor, New York, New York, US, at 2:00pm EST. The matters to be considered at the AGM will be set forth in the notice of meeting and information circular to be provided to shareholders in advance. Shareholders of record as of May 13, 2011 will be entitled to vote their shares at the AGM.
On Tuesday, June 28, 2011, the Company will host an investor information session for a review of recent and ongoing corporate activities and strategies looking forward. This afternoon session will be held at the offices of Heenan Blaikie LLP located at 333 Bay Street, Suite 2900, Bay Adelaide Centre, Toronto, Ontario, Canada at 4:30pm EST.
