Tosca Mining Corporation Announces Increase in Financing

Vancouver, British Columbia CANADA, March 08, 2011 - Tosca Mining Corp. (TSQ - TSX Venture, TQ4 - FWB), reports that the private placement as announced in its news release of March 3, 2011 has been increased from 10,000,000 units to up to 14,300,000 units at a price of $.35 per unit. Each unit consists of one common share and one non-transferable share purchase warrant, with each warrant to entitle the holder to purchase one common share for a period of one year at a price of 45 cents per share. The gross proceeds raised will now be $5,005,000. The Offering will be non-brokered; however, Tosca may pay finder's fees in accordance with the rules and policies of the TSX Venture Exchange.Tosca Mining Corporation intends to utilize the proceeds of this private placement toward the development of the Company's mineral properties.
The private placement is subject to the acceptance of the TSX Venture Exchange.
