Proposed Reverse Circulation Drilling on the Central Zone of Rome's Don Luis Property in Sonora, Mexico, is Based on All Analyses to Date
SURREY, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 04/27/11 -- Rome Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: RMR) (FRANKFURT: 33R) is pleased to announce a proposed grid of holes for the Central Zone on the Don Luis Greisen-Porphyry Silver-Gold-Tungsten Property, Sonora, Mexico. Proposed locations of 190 reverse circulation drill holes are justified by sampling to date. The object of this drilling is to discover a bulk tonnage, open pit silver-gold-tungsten (+/- molybdenum) mine.
The Don Luis Property is about 45 km north-northeast of Hermosillo, the capital of Sonora. The three zones, West, Central and East are marked by geochemical anomalies that individually are about 500 meters in diameter.
Best results for all significant metals analyzed are mainly within greisen-porphyry that hosts spires of massive quartz and quartz breccia commonly associated with 'brain rock' (UST texture). A preliminary drilling pattern, based on these results is shown in Figure A1. Drill site location will be modified for locally steep terrain. Twenty-nine of the 190 holes are first priority, 35 are second priority, and 126 are third priority. Drilling is expected to begin with our new, state-of-the-art Prospector II Reverse Circulation Drill in May following drilling of the West and East Zones (see this year's News Releases #01 and #02 on SEDAR or on our web site, below).

APPENDIX A
Figure A1. Location of 190 proposed holes for reverse circulation drilling. Holes priorities were selected on the basis of trench, soil and mineralized rock samples. The contoured color is a summary of combined metals where 4 and above (pink to white) are statistically anomalous. There are 29 first priority holes (largest red dots), 35 second priority holes (intermediate dots) and 126 holes of third priority (smallest dots). Note that the main area of priority is about 400 meters in diameter.
