Standard & Poor's Initiates Factual Stock Report Coverage on Rye Patch Gold Corporation
Standard & Poor′s announced today that it has commenced Factual
Stock Report coverage Rye Patch Gold Corp.
Rye Patch Gold Corp. (TXV:RPM), in the exploration stage as of September
30, 2010, is exploring well-known mineral trends in Nevada as it seeks
to build a sizeable inventory of gold and silver resource assets in that
state. The company is developing its primary assets, including the
advanced-stage Wilco, Lincoln Hill, Jessup, and Gold Ridge projects
located along the emerging Oreana gold trend in west-central Nevada.
In February 2011, Rye Patch Gold reported that it had 1.2 million ounces
of gold and gold equivalent in the measured and indicated category plus
2.7 million ounces of gold and gold equivalent in the inferred category.
In February 2011, the company announced programs and budgets for the
2011 exploration season. It planned to spend a total of Canadian Dollar
(C$) 3.5 million on its Nevada project portfolio. Within the Oreana
trend, a total of C$2.25 million was planned for the Wilco, Lincoln Hill
and Gold Ridge projects. At the Garden Gate Pass project, a first-pass
drilling program was being planned at an approved budget of C$750,000.
The remainder of the budgeted funds will be used for general corporate
purposes, claim fees, and advance royalty payments.
At the company's 100%-controlled Wilco project, gold and silver assays
were reported in January 2011 from two completed drillholes exploring
the North Basin high-grade structural zone. As of February 2011, six
core holes had been completed along the zone with results pending on the
last four. A seventh core hole was in progress, and a total of 12
drillholes were planned. The core program will continue to follow the
high-grade gold zone westward and attempt to expand the zone along
strike from the existing 200-meter length to 900 meters. A minimum of
3,000 meters of wide-spaced drilling was planned. Follow-up and in-fill
drilling will commence once the total strike length of the zone is
known. The company's Wilco project is located 160 kilometers northeast
of Reno, Nevada.
