Inmet to Host Two Cobre Panama Analyst Trips in March
TORONTO, CANADA -- (Marketwire) -- 03/20/11 -- Inmet Mining Corporation (TSX: IMN) (Inmet) will host two tours for mining analysts and investors of the Cobre Panama project. The first tour will be Monday March 21-23, and the second will be Thursday, March 31 - April 2. Powerpoint slides of the site presentation will be posted on Inmet's website at www.inmetmining.com on Monday March 21.
These slides include background on Panama's economy, infrastructure, and regulatory environment and an update on the status of the project. Inmet will discuss possible alternatives to coal-fired power, which will be detailed in the slides. These alternatives are being evaluated in response to recent discussions with the Panamanian government. As the slide presentations demonstrate, these potential modifications to the plan are not expected to have a material impact on the timing or economic attractiveness of the project.
