Tyhee Development Corp. changes its name to Tyhee Gold Corp.

VANCOUVER, Feb. 1 /CNW/ - Tyhee Development Corp. (TSX Venture, TDC) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that effective as of the opening of the market today, the Company's name will be changed to Tyhee Gold Corp. The Company will continue to trade on the TSX Venture Exchange with the symbol TDC. "The change of the corporate name to Tyhee Gold Corp. better reflects our vision and strategy in the exploration and development of gold resource," said CEO David Webb. "We have been gold-focused for ten years this month, taking a 500,000 ounce gold resource to over 2 million ounces, completing a preliminary feasibility study demonstrating excellent profitability in today's economic climate, and advancing our permitting process to the final stages."
Tyhee Gold Corp. is a gold exploration and development company working in the historic Yellowknife Gold Camp, NWT, Canada. It is the largest property holder in this camp and has the largest exploration and development program underway in the region. Its principal asset is the Yellowknife Gold Project, located on mineral claims and mining leases 50 to 90 km north of Yellowknife, NWT. These include the Nicholas Lake, Ormsby, and Bruce Zones which are all open to depth, and the Goodwin Lake, and Clan Lake Gold Zones which are open along strike and to depth.
