Pershimco Resources Inc./Addition To The Team: Dr. Michael Druecker, Ex BHP Minerals Country Manager
ROUYN-NORANDA, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 10/07/10 -- Pershimco Resources Inc. (the 'Corporation' or 'Pershimco') (TSX VENTURE: PRO) (FRANKFURT: BIZ) is pleased to welcome Dr. Michael Druecker as an advisor and consultant to Pershimco for its projects in Latin America. Beginning in Q4 2010, Dr. Druecker will be focused on optimizing, implementing and supervising Pershimco's exploration program at Cerro Quema, its advanced gold-copper project in Panama.
Dr. Druecker has been involved in minerals exploration activities in Latin America for several decades and will add a unique level of experience to Pershimco's exploration and development programs. Dr. Druecker has spent most of his career participating in major projects involving gold and copper systems including high-sulphidation epithermal gold deposits. His past positions as Country Manager in Mexico for MIM Exploration Pty (later Xstrata) and most importantly Country Manager for Panama with BHP Minerals International Exploration is a perfect fit within Pershimco's growing exploration team.
Dr. Druecker is presently an independent consulting geologist with his company, Damien Consultants, and is a qualified person as defined by Canadian National Instrument 43-101.
