Blackstone Announces Results from Annual General Meeting
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 09/02/10 -- Blackstone Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE: BLV) recently held its 2010 Annual General Meeting ('AGM') in Vancouver. Resolutions passed at the meeting included the re-appointment of Hay and Watson as auditors of Blackstone, approval of Blackstone's incentive stock option plan, and the election of the following Directors:

-- Michael Knuckey
-- Tor Falck
-- Donald Njegovan
-- Dean MacEachern
Stuart Angus and Kelvin Dushnisky announced their retirement from the Board and did not stand for re-election at the AGM. Subsequent to the AGM, Michael Knuckey also announced his retirement from the Board. Blackstone wishes to thank Mr. Angus, Mr. Dushnisky, and Mr. Knuckey for their many years of service to the company. Blackstone also wishes to welcome Mr. Don Njegovan to the Board of Directors. Mr. Njegovan is currently a Director of Investment Banking at Scotia Capital Inc. in Toronto.
