Geoff Chater Appointed President of Valley High Ventures
Mr Chater holds a B.Sc. in geology from Texas Christian University and has over 21 years of experience in the mining industry and is a principal of Namron Advisors, a corporate communications company. From 1999-2008, Mr Chater held the position of Manager of Corporate Relations for copper producer First Quantum Minerals Ltd. During his career, Mr Chater has held similar positions with Greystar Resources Ltd., Nevada Pacific Gold Ltd., Eldorado Gold Corporation, Fairbanks Gold Corporation and Ivanhoe Capital Corporation.
Rob Cameron commented 'Geoff is a welcome addition to the management team at Valley High. He brings a wealth of capital markets and corporate development experience to the Company. His many years of experience as a liaison with the investment community will improve our efforts to effectively communicate with our stakeholders. Ms Kathrine MacDonald has stepped down from the position of Vice President Corporate Development. Ms MacDonald is a founder of Valley High and will continue to support the efforts of the management team as a member of the Board of Directors.
The Company also wishes to announce that it has granted incentive stock options for the purchase of up to 330,000 common shares at a price of $0.34 per share.
