Quadra FNX Announces Changes to IR Team
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 06/21/10 -- Quadra FNX Mining Ltd. ('Quadra FNX' or 'the Company') (TSX: QUX) announces that following eight years as Vice President Investor Relations and Corporate Affairs with FNX Mining Company Inc., Dave Constable has chosen to retire from his position. Dave has been an invaluable member of the FNX team, and had an instrumental role in the success of the company. His contribution will be greatly missed.
We are pleased to announce that effective Monday, June 14, 2010 Nawojka Wachowiak has joined Quadra FNX as Vice President of Investor Relations, reporting to Derek White, Executive Vice President of Corporate Development and will be a member of the senior management team. Nawojka will be based in the Toronto Corporate Office. Sophie Taylor (Manager, Investor Relations, Vancouver Office) and Leta McCulloch (Toronto Office Manager) will report to Nawojka.
Nawojka brings over ten years of experience as a Research Analyst/Associate. Between 2000 and 2006 she worked at HSBC in New York and Toronto, transitioning into an analyst's role in 2005. Between 2006 and 2008, Nawojka worked as a Research Analyst at BMO Nesbitt Burns, and most recently was a Base Metal Research Analyst with Genuity Capital Markets. Nawojka holds a MSc. degree in geology from the University of Toronto and worked in mineral exploration prior to her career as an analyst.
Dave Constable will be assisting Nawojka's transition into her new role and will remain with Quadra FNX until the transition is complete at the end of July 2010.
