Rock Tech Compiling Channel Sampling Program Data, Assay Results Imminent
VANCOUVER, Feb. 15, 2017 /CNW/ - Rock Tech Lithium Inc. (the "Company" or "Rock Tech") (TSX-V: RCK; Frankfurt: RJIB), is pleased to announced that it expects to disclose the first set of assay results from its channel sampling program in the coming days.
Rock Tech started a prospecting and channel sampling program in the third quarter of 2016. The prospecting portion of the program resulted in a brand new discovery, highlighting the inherent organic growth potential of the Georgia Lake lithium property. This new discovery was announced in a press release on January 11, 2017.
"Due to the significant investments already made in the Georgia Lake lithium property, including the publication of the first-ever NI 43-101 resource estimate, people often underappreciate its expansion potential," stated Martin Stephan, Rock Tech's CEO. "The recent new discovery reminds us of the project's growth potential."
The Company conducted the channel sampling program to collect valuable surface information of the various lithium-bearing pegmatites on the Georgia Lake property which adds value by confirming the location and surface extent of the pegmatite dykes and helping guide a future drill program.
Rock Tech will communicate the assay results once they have been received by the lab and compiled by the Company's geological team.
All scientific and technical information in this news release concerning the Georgia Lake lithium property was reviewed and prepared under the supervision of Locke Goldsmith, P. Eng., P. Geo., an independent Qualified Person to Rock Tech.
On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Company,
"Martin Stephan"
