Rock Tech Increases Georgia Lake Land Package
Vancouver, BC, Canada / TheNewswire / August 29, 2016 - Rock Tech Lithium Inc. (the "Company" or "Rock Tech") (TSX-V: RCK; Frankfurt: RJIB) is pleased to announce that it is has added new claims to its 100%-owned Georgia Lake lithium property. The Company has staked 71 claim units covering 1,136 hectares bringing the total property size to 293 claim units and 81 mining leases covering 9,282 hectares.
The new claims, covering known spodumene-bearing pegmatites in addition to unexplored areas with pegmatite boulders, offer the potential for new lithium discoveries in the Georgia Lake area. As part of its recently announced exploration program, the Company will conduct prospecting on the new claims.
Martin Stephan, CEO of Rock Tech Lithium, comments: "We are very excited to add these highly prospective claims to what is already the largest lithium land package in the Georgia Lake area. While the Georgia Lake pegmatite field was discovered in the 1950's, several areas remain under-explored and have the potential for new discoveries."
Rock Tech is the only exploration company in the Georgia Lake region with an NI 43-101 resource estimate. Further, the Company has completed metallurgical testing on a bulk sample demonstrating the ability to produce both a high-grade spodumene concentrate and battery-grade lithium carbonate ("Li2CO3"). The spodumene-bearing pegmatites of the Georgia Lake area were originally discovered in 1955.
All scientific and technical information in this news release concerning the Georgia Lake lithium property was reviewed and prepared under the supervision of Locke Goldsmith, P.Eng, P.Geo, an independent Qualified Person to Rock Tech.
