Oban Mining Completes Private Placement

Oban Mining Corp. (TSX:OBM) ("Oban" or the "Corporation") is pleased to announce, further to its announcements on September 10, 2015, that the Corporation has completed a "bought deal" private placement financing of 8,427,500 flow-through common shares of the Corporation (the "Flow-Through Shares"), which includes 1,377,500 Flow-Through Shares issued on the exercise of the underwriter's option, at a price of $1.55 per Flow-Through Share for aggregate gross proceeds of $13,062,625 (the "Offering"). The Offering was underwritten by Dundee Securities Ltd.
The Corporation intends to use the gross proceeds of the Offering for "Canadian exploration expenses" (within the meaning of the Income Tax Act (Canada)) related to the Canadian exploration projects of Oban. The Corporation has agreed to renounce such "Canadian exploration expenses" with an effective date of no later than December 31, 2015.
All securities issued to purchasers under the Offering will be subject to a four-month hold period from the date of issuance of the securities, pursuant to applicable securities legislation.
