Typhoon Acquires Two New Properties
LAVAL, CANADA--(Marketwired - Mar 31, 2015) - Typhoon Exploration Inc. ("Typhoon") (TSX VENTURE:TYP) is pleased to announce that it has acquired, by map designation, two (2) new gold properties. These new properties called Ranger and Sommet are 100%-owned by Typhoon.
The Ranger property comprises 13 mining claims covering a surface of approximately 556.16 hectares (5.6 km2) and it is adjacent to the Fayolle Property, which contains more than 188,000 ounces of gold in the indicated category (see press release dated Sept. 6, 2012).
The Sommet property comprises 11 mining claims covering a surface of approximately 467.86 hectares (4.7 km2) and it is adjacent to the Trésor property from Axe Exploration.
They are both located within the Abitibi region, in Quebec, one of the richest regions in gold mines in the world.
