Glen Eagle Resources Inc.: Gold Recovery
MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Nov 12, 2014) - Glen Eagle Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:GER) (Glen Eagle or the Company) is pleased to announce that two flotation tests (2 kilos/test) were conducted at the Centre de Technologie Minérale and Plasturgie (CTMP) located in Thetford Mines, Quebec. Each test achieved over 90 % gold recovery within 5 minutes of flotation on tailings coming from the company's concession site in La Libertad, Nicaragua. Silver (73%) and mercury (50%) were recovered after 7 minutes of floatation. The Company expects to achieve higher mercury recovery from additional tests currently being conducted at the CTMP.
Based on the input received from the CTMP and historical data, volume should not impact recovery and the tests are deemed to be representative.
The project will remain environmentally friendly as the chemicals used in the floatation circuit are environmentally benign. Construction for the floatation circuit is well under way and the company will provide an update shortly on the progress being made.
