Discovery Ventures Inc. Hires Community Engagement Manager for WillaMAX
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Sep 11, 2014) - Discovery Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE:DVN)(FRANKFURT:0DV) ("Discovery" or the "Company"), is pleased to announce that it has recently hired Ms. Vanessa Freberg in the role of Community Engagement Manager for the WillaMAX Project. Ms. Freberg will initially assist in field management of consultants and contractors working in preparation for potential future permit applications. She will be a primary point of contact for communities and first nations in the region of the Willa and MAX project sites.
Ms. Freberg was born and raised in Revelstoke, B.C. and has lived and worked in the Columbia Shuswap and West Kootenays regional districts for most of her career. She is well connected to the communities of Silverton, New Denver, Nakusp, Revelstoke and Trout Lake. She has previously worked at the MAX Mine with various duties including; administration, geology, surface operations and camp services and as a result knows the MAX operations very well. She has since been engaged in a variety of other geological field programs and recently managed firefighting crews for a Revelstoke based wild-firefighting company. Vanessa has a keen interest in mining, geology, sustainability, and the environment, as well as having a deep commitment to her community.

Discovery is an exploration and development stage company focused on the WillaMAX project which is prospective for gold. A summary of the project is provided in a recent WillaMAX Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) released May 26, 2014 as amended June 20, 2014 prepared by Wayne M. Ash, P.Eng.
