Vanstar Resumes Drilling on the Liam Showing
LA PRAIRIE, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Mar 10, 2014) - Following the latest drill results from the Liam showing, the management of Vanstar Mining Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:VSR) announces the start of a new 2000-meter drilling campaign on the Liam zone and on the Mila showing located east of the Liam zone. This drilling program will verify the east extension of the Liam zone as well as its extension at depth.
Three of the four drill holes ( LI14-10 to LI14-13) done in early 2014 were spaced 50 metres apart and tested the west extension of the Liam zone. Those 3 holes intersected the targeted zone while drill hole LI-14-14, located 50 metres behind drill hole NE-13-08, intersected the targeted zone more at depth. Management already observed the presence of visible gold in certain previous holes which could explain the variations in the results. The presence of molybdenum is also observed in the most of the drill holes.
The most significant results are presented in the following table.

The Liam zone is now known over a distance of 250 metres and remains open in all directions.
Regarding drill hole LI14-13, fold showings (parasite folds) were observed, possibly explaining a displacement. Moreover, the geophysical survey shows important folds in the areas of Liam, Mila and Lac d'Eu. More drill holes will take place in this area in order to find the gold zone.
The company is planing an aerial EM geophysical survey that will cover the entire property. This survey, combined with a ground IP survey, will identify the next geophysical targets.
«We completed 9 drill holes so far on this new showing and the main horizons are present in almost every drill hole. We are fortunate to have found a new gold structure within an underexplored area which allows us to be optimistic for the future. Drilling, geophysics and stripping will help us outline the gold zones of this area and that is what we intend to do in the coming months.» stated Mr. Guy Morissette, CEO of the company.
Samples were recorded, packaged and sent to the certified Lab Expert Inc. facility in Rouyn-Noranda. They were assayed for gold by FAA on a 30 gram pulp. Sample exceeding 1 g/t Au were re-assayed by FA with a gravity finish. Company's QA/QC procedures include random insertions of certified standard material and blanks as well as the use of duplicates. NQ size core was described, sampled and split in two at the company's logging facility in Rouyn-Noranda.
The work was performed under the supervision of Daniel Kelly, consulting geologist and Qualified Person under NI 43-101. This press release was read and approved by Daniel Kelly.
