Xmet President and Directors to Host PDAC Seminar on Alternative Financing for Junior Resource Companies
TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Feb 28, 2014) - Xmet Inc. ("Xmet" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:XME) is pleased to announce that Xmet's President and Director, Stephen Stewart and Independent Director Jean-Pierre Colin of Capital Markets Strategies will be co-chairing a discussion titled 'Alternative Financing Sources for Junior Resource Companies'. The company would like to invite all PDAC attendees to join event on Wednesday March 5th beginning at 9:00am in Room 714 of the South Building of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
The session will focus on the evolution of financing alternatives available to resource and exploration companies within the current financial environment and how juniors must look at non-traditional ways of financing their exploration. This session will draw on the experience of its co-chairs and selected speakers including Abraham Drost of Carlisle Goldfields Ltd., Sean Cleary of Blackrock Metals Inc., Suzanne Leclair of Connect Counsel, Erin Chutter of Global Cobalt Corp., Caroline Donally of Denham Capital Management LP, and Ross Bhappu of Resource Capital Funds who will detail their strategies for investment and securing capital and how junior companies can attract their interest.

About Xmet's Blackflake Project
Xmet's Blackflake Project comprises over 29,000 acres of 100% owned claims approximately 60km to the northwest of Hearst, Ontario and is adjacent to Zenyatta's Hydrothermal Graphite Deposit. Xmet has now conducted three airborne electromagnetic surveys, VTEM and TDEM, which discovered multiple electromagnetic conductors making the targets highly prospective for further exploration. Xmet has developed an excellent working relationship with the Constance Lake First Nation, with whom the company signed an ongoing Exploration Agreement.
