(TSX VENTURE:SOI) is pleased to announce the filing of a NI 43-101 technical report on the Cheechoo Gold property located in the region of Opinaca at James Bay, Quebec. The author of the report, Mr. Réjean Girard, an independent consulting geologist of the firm IOS Services Géoscientifiques inc., from Saguenay, mentions, among other things: "The autumn 2012 drill discovery made by Sirios Resources on Cheechoo-B-West might be the most significant gold occurrence in James Bay after Eleonore mine". The technical report is available for review on SEDAR: www.sedar.com
Preparation for the diamond drilling program:
Construction work that will allow, for the first time, land access to the Cheechoo property will begin this week and will take around two weeks to be finished. Once completed, the drilling campaign will begin. The track access will permit the execution of exploration work all year long in the future, independent of the weather conditions.
Sirios presently holds 45% interest in the Cheechoo project and is in the process of acquiring the remaining 55% held by Golden Valley Mines Ltd (TSX VENTURE:GZZ), as described in the 9 April, 2013 and 19 June, 2013 press releases.
Neither the TSX Venture Exchange nor its Regulation Services Provider (as that term is defined in the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange) accepts responsibility for the adequacy or accuracy of this release.
