Beaufield Continues to Drill at Urban Gold
MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Aug 21, 2013) - Beaufield Resources Inc. ("Beaufield" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:BFD) is pleased to announce that it has completed drilling of 3 holes or 684 metres on its 100% owned Urban gold property. This is part of a minimum 8 hole program to test 3 target areas: Lac Kent, Lac Rouleau and Rivage Zone. Drill assay results are expected during September 2013.
The Urban area is the focus of increased gold exploration activity by Beaufield and its neighbours which are developing properties that adjoin Beaufield. Metanor Resources Inc. is operating the Barry mine and Eagle Hill Exploration Corp. has just announced a significant corporate development. A map is attached showing the location of the major participants undertaking active exploration in the Urban Township.
The following paragraphs describe gold occurences on Beaufield's property. The contents therein were first announced in a news release dated February 26, 2009.
The Urban gold project consists of 173 claims covering 7,085 hectares located in the Urban-Barry Archean greenstone belt, 190 km NE of Val-d'Or, Quebec. Ten gold showings are historically known on the Beaufield blocks.

A significant exploration program was undertaken in 1986-1988, operated by Falconbridge Ltd.. This resulted in partial definition of Zone 18 and the discovery of Zone 17. The two zones are located one kilometre apart and may be joined.
In 2004, Beaufield undertook a small drill program and defined an extension of zone 18 close to surface. Holes BFRL 401 and 402 intersected significant gold intersections (News release May 5th, 2004).
