Oremex Silver Announces Appointment of Michael Smith as Chief Geological Advisor
TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired - Aug. 7, 2013) - Oremex Silver Inc. ("the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:OAG) is pleased to announce that Michael Smith will be assuming the role of Chief Geological Advisor. Coincident with this appointment, Mr. Smith will also be resigning from his position as Chief Executive Officer and Director of the Company to pursue other full time interests.

The Board of Directors has initiated a process to appoint a new Chief Executive Officer. Keith Minty, P. Eng., who has a broad range of international experience in both building and operating mining operations (see Press Release dated May 21, 2013), will lead the Executive Search and evaluation process of candidates on behalf of the Company.
