Santa Barbara Closes Private Placement with Rio Alto Mining

Vancouver, British Columbia CANADA, February 13, 2013 /FSC/ - Santa Barbara Resources Limited (SBL - TSX Venture), ("Santa Barbara" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that, further to the press release dated February 7, 2013, it has closed its non-brokered private placement with Rio Alto Mining Limited. The Company issued 2,500,000 common shares at a purchase price of $0.08 raising gross proceeds of $200,000. The common shares are subject to a hold period in Canada expiring on June 14, 2013.The net proceeds of the private placement will be used for general corporate purposes.
