Pierre Bureau Joins Pershimco's Team as Project Management Consultant

ROUYN-NORANDA, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Jul 31, 2013) - Pershimco Resources Inc. (the "Company" or "Pershimco") (TSX VENTURE:PRO)(FRANKFURT:BIZ) is pleased to announce the hiring of Pierre Bureau as consultant in project management to the Pershimco Team for the development of the Company's wholly-owned Cerro Quema Project in Panama.

Mr. Bureau joins Pershimco after more than 15 years of project management and construction experience within Agnico Eagle Mines Ltd.. In his latest position, as that company's Vice President Construction, he supervised Agnico Eagle's construction teams. Previously, he managed a number of large mining construction projects, overseeing the engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) of projects at Agnico's flagship LaRonde mine and Lapa mine in Canada, as well as the Pinos Altos mine and the Mascota operations in Mexico.

Mr. Bureau, who is fluent in French, Spanish and English, is a certified PMP (Project Manager Professional) and holds an Industrial Engineering degree. His addition as Cerro Quema Project Manager to the Pershimco Team further reinforces the strong technical team already in place and focused on making Pershimco's vision a reality.
