Ressources Appalaches Complements its Dufferin Gold Mine Technical Expertise and Progresses Underground

Mr. Rancourt acquired his Ph.D., Mining Dept, McGill University, in 2010 and a M.A.Sc., Mining Dept. Rock Mechanics, Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal in 1996. He has since realised over 10 geological, mining and rock mechanics studies for underground and surface mines. He has also participated in the design of other metals and gold mining projects around the world.

Underground Progress
During the past few weeks the Company has begun the underground safety inspection and the initial rock mechanic evaluation, as well as started the underground rehab activities. Moreover, the primary ventilation fan for the underground has now been overhauled and installed to supply air to the underground galleries.
The Company has also hired underground miners along with acquired the underground equipment, 3.5 yard scoop, 18tonnes truck and scissor lift, required to proceed with the underground rehab activities and future mining work. The refurbishment of the Mine Office and Mine Dry has also been completed.
