Tintina Resources Inc. Announces Results from Annual General Meeting
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired) -- 04/25/13 -- Tintina Resources Inc. ("Tintina" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: TAU)(OTCQX: TINTF) announces the results of its Annual General Meeting ("AGM"), which was held on April 24, 2013 in Vancouver, British Columbia.
During the AGM, the shareholders passed a motion to set the number of directors on the Board at six (6). The following persons were elected as directors:

Gerald Booth
Kenneth Collison
Steven Khan
Mark Pinho
Eric Vincent
The Company is pleased to welcome new directors Mr. Mark Pinho and Mr. Eric Vincent to the Board.
Mr. Mark A. Victor Pinho is a Managing Director in the private equity group of Soros Fund Management LLC and has been with the firm since 2006. Mr. Pinho received an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor's degree from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.
Mr. Eric Vincent is Chief Executive Officer of The Electrum Group LLC, a New York-based investment, advisory and asset management firm with a focus on the natural resources sector. Prior to joining Electrum, Mr. Vincent served as the President of Ospraie Management, an investment firm focused on commodities and basic industries from 2004-2012. Mr. Vincent was previously also a member of the Global Markets Advisory Committee of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission ("CFTC") and a member of the Investor Advisory Group of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board ("PCAOB"). Mr. Vincent earned a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School, and a Bachelor of Arts at Williams College.
Immediately following the AGM, Mr. Gerald Booth was appointed as the Company's Interim Chief Executive Officer. The Board of Directors has established a special committee to search for and appoint a permanent Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Rick Van Nieuwenhuyse will continue to act as the Company's Executive Chairman, Mr. Wylie Hui as the Chief Financial Officer, and Ms. Tiffany Konings as the Corporate Secretary.
At the AGM, Ernst & Young LLP were re-appointed as the Company's auditors for the ensuing year and the directors were authorized to fix their remuneration. The Company's 10% rolling Stock Option Plan was also re-approved.
